Pouring snow. Huge flakes. Everything covered including highways. 28 degrees

latest hrrr and nam have this over by 6pm for nyc n and w. doc and cp you should stay all frozen through this event.

n/e winds temps in the 20's I do not see low level cold eroding as quickly as models indicate. even down near me this could get very nasty when we flip. good thing precip is falling during the daylight.

this is a nice surprise Al snowing at a pretty heavy clip right now. Radar shows mix line very close but let's hope it stays put!

I think our wwa says 1 inch. It's the glaze of ice that's go make messy. They did a ton salt last night but roads still got covered. School in full swing better not change minds. By pickup time it should be okay here.

30* and snowing here. Moderate snow with occasionally large flakes. Started as a mix of light sleet and snow at just after 7 a.m., then went to all snow by 8 and has been snowing since. Ground is coated with snow/sleet.

It's apparent the cold is always underestimated this year especially on models.

Same here daughter at school. hey guess what I may b joining the teacher crew. I have my second half of interview to be a early intervention specialist with kids with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder. In a scientifically based school model using statistics to judge progress. Kids ages 1 to 3. I have to do a demo lesson plan tomorrow so wish me luck!

yes. models do a good job with the mid levels. however are poor with low level cold air.

.6" so far back to smaller flakes. one concern is dry slot working through N.J.. precip could shut off for a while. most guidance has me flipping around noon so we could lose some qpf during coldest part of storm.

Yeah was thinking the same. Its lightened up some and more sleet is returning again.
