just upped the area as mugs posted to 4-6 for me, if this holds then we may get the upper end, and watches may be extended east, right now they are all west. No of course I doubt, but never impossible 6-10.

Lets see what mr. boss busy man has to say later, I will be interested in his analysis versus what the NWS just decided to do.

Hells bells peeps we are getting ready to rock the cazba tomorrow. The swfe is coming in faster and a tad juicier by Sr models this afternoon if it shows it again by 0z runs then we are locked up. Plumes are showing 6" for LGA and JFK saying wet bulbs not getting above 33* this is interesting if it serves , weaker lp is the culprit I suspect. Not saying it will happen but a good trend here.

If what you say is true and continues to trend we could all see wsw, possibly not saying it will happen. Only need a push of a few inches, 3-5 is wwa, 4-7 is a wsw.

Uptons snow map has me right on the line of 4-6 and 6-8. This may be my second or even first biggest snowstorm this winter. Hope we all end up with 6-10.
I am excited.

I'm under a winter weather advisory now. I still have no idea how much snow I'll be getting. But Accuweather's map just says "Heaviest Snow".

Taffy 3-5" maybe 4-6" there in Westfield then changeover to sleet, frz rain and possibly rain at the end.

4-7 is only a WSW if there is also ice in the forecast. WSW is 6 or more inches of snow in Uptons area.

An afternoon start Skins anywhere from 4-8 inches predicted by NWS in Orange County now. Actually more towards southern and Central Orange County 6-8, where Doc and I are as per Uptons map, than northern Orange where your family is in Pine Bush. I'm sure it will change again before tomorrow though. Winter storm Watch for all of Orange County right now.
