29 and mod freezing rain.
Icy in spots but the snow cover makes it more a crusty snow than smooth glaze of ice

Continues to pour out, everything is getting a good glaze right now, changed over an hour or so early, and therefore predictions of 4-8 on Franks map busted low at barely 3 inches (I measure just at the onset of sleet so I do not think it was much more than that), here anyways, too low for LI it appears. But still happy to see some white stuff in December! Seems LI was jackpot for southern areas! James do not ever complain again lol you won out!! Now how long this freezing rain holds on is key as its still pretty cold and its heavy precip. No sleet as I do not hear any on my A/C or windows. They have the main roads clred nicely which may or may not b a good thing. Side roads not plowed.

Just drove to work roads are dangerous sleet and freezing rain at the moment measure three and a half inches brings my total to 4.2 for the year. Long Island did very well. As did the models with showing ocean enhancement over Long Island. Precept should be over in the next hour or so good storm will take it.

If the Zookeeper measures correctly this will not be the worst winter ever. Central Park should have over 3.5 inches by now as they measured .4 last Sunday.
