All,

Attached is a link to a PDF which is a fascinating case study of the February 21st-22nd storm written by our own RB. The depth of knowledge RB has is way beyond what anyone else has on this board to date. I have learned a lot from him this winter as I'm sure most of you have as well. For those who have known me for awhile know how much I like to create a learning experience / atmosphere on forums. I feel it's important people get something out of my content than just knowing what the weather will be. RB thank you for taking the time and for helping to make this place the way I envisioned it.

Best,

Frank

I have always been interested in weather and I don't post but read and read and read just about everything on this board and that was a great write-up rb.  I even got a laugh as near the end of the write-up you meant to say assessed but it was written as "assed" which is just, well, funny.  I am a scientist, well wetland ecologist to be exact, and always enjoy reading scientific literature and that piece was certainly a scientifically written piece that was written in such a way that even an atmospheric "wanna be" scientist such as myself could understand.  Job well done. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hey, I see it was posted!! Thanks everybody for reading, really. It's so cool to just be able to talk weather with others who are as interested, if not more interested than I am, and to be able to add input and help you to understand at least parts of things is really awesome. I learn just as much from you guys as you may be from me, and I hope it can continue Very Happy

And Frank, thank YOU for the opportunity not only to do this writeup, but to also be a part of such an awesome "place". The members on this board are as enthusiastic as my classmates were at school; and trust me, that's saying a lot lol Makes it so much fun, regardless of who gets the most snow. You, and everybody else on here ROCK!!!!

Ray.

I just got the chance to sit and read this tonight. A fantastic piece of work. I can't imagine or guess how many hours this took but thanks for taking out the time to do it.

Since you've started posting on this board I immediately recognized you as one of our top 5 analysts and this just solidifies why. For any that haven't had the chance to sit and read this yet I highly recommend it.
